Carol Ann "Dolly" Weseman, age 47, a resident of Villa Park and formerly of Wheaton and Winfield, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, March 20 at Elmhurst Memorial Hospital. She was born on July 13, 1957 in Elmhurst to George and JoAnn Weseman.
Carol grew up in Winfield and graduated from Wheaton North High School in 1975. She worked as a paralegal for the law firm of Mulherin, Rehfeldtt and Varchetto in Wheaton. She was a loving mother who devoted her life to her children and a was good friend to many.
She is survived by her children, Stefanie, a student at IL State University in Normal, and Brad Nelson Jr., her father George (Therese) Weseman of Chicago, two brothers, Jeff Weseman of Wheaton and Ken (Ann) Weseman of Wheaton, two sisters, Janet (Jeff) Gilbert of Batavia and Judy (Dr. Michael) Willett of Ringoes, NJ, her nieces and nephews, Bob, Mike, and Kim Schmidt, Benjamin, Lauren, and Dana Willett, Laura and Kevin Slater, Adam and Lynn Gilbert, and Hannah Weseman, and her kittens Bindy and Nicky. She is also survived by seven step-siblings.
She was preceded in death by her mother, JoAnn in 1991 and her beloved grandmother Elizabeth Bober in 1997.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 22, from 4 until 9 p.m. at the Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St. in Wheaton.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. at Blanchard Road Alliance Church, 1766 S. Blanchard Rd., Wheaton, with Rev. John Casey officiating.
Interment will be held privately.
