Carlos "Los" Francisco De Valdivielso, age 62, a resident of Wheaton, IL, died March 7, 2024.  He was born July 13, 1961 in Cuba.

Carlos immigrated to the United States from Cuba when he was just 8 years old.  He proudly served in the US Army for nearly 3 years after the Vietnam era. He had a big heart and was known for his generosity & dedication to helping others. He loved to joke and was affectionately known by the name "Big Daddy" to his friends and loved ones. Alongside his passion for motorcycles & fast cars, Carlos loved a good rock & roll track.

He is survived by his children Alan (Melissa) Walsh & Susie (Roberto) De Valdivielso; his grandchildren Aliana & Aylett; his parents Domingo & Celia De Valdivielso; his siblings Milagro, Omar, and Noel; and his nieces & nephews: Yarima, Jason, and Kyle.

A visitation will be held on Monday, March 11, 2024, at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main Street, Wheaton, IL 60187, from 4:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Interment will be private at Assumption Cemetery in Wheaton, IL.
