Carleen Berry, age 74, a resident of Glendale Heights, IL, and formerly of Maricopa, Arizona passed away suddenly on Wednesday, January 24, 2024, at home.  She was born July 23, 1949, in Honolulu, Hawaii to Henry and Mary Entendencia.

Carleen moved from Hawaii to Chicago in the late 1960's when she had sons Terry and Mike with her first husband. Carleen had a very strong work ethic and worked in various service industries and private businesses. She really enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, other close relatives, and friends. Carleen especially liked the outdoors, travel, and crafts like jewelry making in her spare time. Carleen was a spiritual person and took comfort in the many friendships developed through her church.

Carleen is survived by her sons, Terry (Sunny) Matsunaga of Queen Creek, Arizona, grandchildren Kiana and Ewalani, Mike (Minnie) Matsunaga, siblings and many nieces and nephews.

Carleen was preceded in death by her husband, John Berry.

The family has decided to have a private service and only ask dear friends and relatives to keep her in your thoughts and prayers.
