Bud Hogan, age 65, a resident of West Chicago, and formerly of Lombard, died suddenly on Sunday, April 3, at home. He was born February 16, 1940 in Chicago.
Bud was an intense train buff. Early in his career he worked in the railroad industry, and continued in the transportation industry for the rest of his life. He was proud of his service in the Navy in the early 1960's.
Recently he worked for Laidlaw Education Services in Villa Park, with people and in a position that he greatly enjoyed. He was active in his church and will be greatly missed by family and friends.
He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Cheryl; two brothers-in-law, Philip (Diane) Kommer of Villa Park, and Peter Kommer of Crete; and his sister-in-law, Barbara (Kurt Koenig) Kommer of Brush Prairie, WA.
