Bruce Gregersen, age 51, a resident of West Chicago, IL, died Monday, April 11, 2011, at home. He was born May 1, 1959 in Menominee, MI.

Bruce attended Moody Bible Institute and trained to be a Missionary - a calling he had since childhood. He spent nine years in Italy serving as a Pastor and Church Planter with TEAM. He continued with TEAM as a recruiter and trainer of new missionaries in the United States. He was a member and deacon at Faith Baptist Church in Winfield.

He is survived by his wife of 20 years, Shari; his two children, Michelle and Daniel; his father, Neal (Judy); four siblings, Dave (Lisa), Tammy (Mario) Meza, Julie (Brian) Sjoquist, and Bart (Val); his grandmother, Elsie Bair; and many nieces, nephews and extended family.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Barbara; and his newborn daughter, Emily.

A visitation will be held Friday, April 15, 2011 from 4-8 p.m. at Faith Baptist Church, 27W010 Parkway Dr, in Winfield, IL, where a funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 16, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Wheaton Cemetery in Wheaton, IL.
