Brian R. Rein, age 60, formerly of Glen Ellyn, IL, most recently Santa Rosa, CA resident for the past 8 years, is at rest on April 8, 2021. He was born August 16, 1960 to Robert L. and Shirley A. Rein.

Brian grew up in Glen Ellyn and attended Glenbard West High School. He loved music, enjoyed old cars, and meeting new people. Brian was known for being friendly and was the host of many open invitation cook-outs. He enjoyed collecting wines and made many friends at VJB vineyards in California. Brian worked as an HVAC technician for 29 years.

He is survived by his children Kimberly, Katelyn, Benjamin, and Paige Rein; his mother Shirley A. Rein; his brothers Walter, Joseph, and Kevin; his sisters Mary (Grant) Baker, and Kelly Dickey; and many cousins, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Robert L. Rein.

A funeral mass will be held on June 5 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Matthew Catholic Church, 1555 Glen Ellyn Rd, Glendale Heights, IL 60139.
