Brian J. Martinez's Obituary
Brian J. Martinez, a resident of Glastonbury, CT, and formerly of DuPage County, passed away on January 22, 2011 at home. He was born August 9, 1978 in Chicago, IL.
Brian was a union plumber for 11 years in the Chicagoland area and also in Connecticut. He was a loving father and enjoyed spending time with his daughter, Amelia. He loved to be outside and especially enjoyed hiking, kayaking and mountain climbing. In recent years he was able to hike many parts of Mt. Rainier in Washington State. He was a dog owner and has loved Gnu, Kendall, and Jenni.
He is survived by his daughter, Amelia; his mother, JoAnn (Dan) Davey of Warrenville, IL, his father, Felix (Paula) Martinez of Sebring, FL; his two brothers, Dan and Mike; and his step-siblings, Danielle Reifert, and Dustin Davey.
A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, February 19, 2011 from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St., in Wheaton, IL. Interment is private.
