Brian A. Cronin, age 37, a resident of St. Charles, IL, passed away on Monday, July 4, 2016 after battling cancer for three years. He was born February 4, 1979 in St. Charles to Bruce and Janis Cronin.

Brian grew up in Winfield and graduated from West Chicago High School. He attended North Central College and graduated with a degree in Business Management. He played on the North Central basketball team. He worked for DuPage County Public Works for many years as a water meter supervisor.

He enjoyed playing basketball, watching movies and being with his three dogs. He loved spending time with his family and friends.

He is survived by his parents, Bruce and Janis Cronin of Winfield, two siblings, Shelley Klemm and Shaun (Sarah) Cronin, one niece, Grace Klemm and two nephews, Joshua and Noah Cronin. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.

A visitation will be held on Friday, July 8, from 4 to 8 at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St., Wheaton, where a funeral service will be held on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Ridgewood Cemetery in Des Plaines, Illinois.
