IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Brett
Coletti
May 22, 1963 – December 15, 2025
Brett Coletti, age 62, of St. Charles, IL, passed away on Monday, December 15, 2025. He was born on May 22, 1963, in Elmhurst, IL, to Donald Coletti and Joyce M. (née Michaels)
Brett grew up in Lombard, IL, and attended Glenbard East High School, class of 1981. After high school, he began working as an engraver and machinist for Weidenmiller. In 2024, Brett left the working world when his health challenges became more overwhelming.
In his free time, Brett enjoyed riding motorcycles and antique cars. His Harley-Davidson bike and his Ford T-Bucket were his favorites. He also enjoyed traveling in his many RVs over the years, including one he converted from a trailer to a living space (with plenty of space for his T-Bucket to go on long rides). Keystone, South Dakota, and Gatlinburg, Tennessee, were among his favorite destinations. Brett was also well known for his creativity and artistic ability. He created numerous pieces of art and furniture for his home. His family will always remember his sense of humor and his loving, snarky tone.
Brett leaves behind his partner of 16 years, Katrina J. Jones, whom he met through his job at Weidenmiller in 2006. His loving siblings are Rick Coletti (Marilyn), Curt Coletti (Josephine), and Sue Coletti (Barton). Dear stepchildren, Samantha Jones, Amanda Jones, Lindsay Wood, and Christopher Wood. His adoring nieces and nephews are Lisa Coletti (Terrence Knight), Justin Coletti (Monette), Crystal Scervo (Tony), Angela Coletti (Brian Williams), Ericka Nuñez (Joseph), Vincent Coletti (Rebecca Guerin), and Heather Coletti (David Guerrero). Brett is also survived by 10 great nieces and nephews, as well as many close friends and extended family members.
Brett was preceded in passing by his parents and his older brother Scott Coletti.
The family is planning a Memorial Gathering for a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the American Cancer Society in Brett's memory would be appreciated.
