Boris Jirásek, 62, of Trutnov, CZ, passed away on Saturday, October 25, 2025. He was born on May 13, 1963, in Valdice Czechoslovakia to Jarmila and Jaroslav Jirásek. He is survived by his wife, Věra, his sister Zdena, and his only child Jan Jirásek (Lindsay), grandson Stefan, and numerous nieces and nephews across four countries in the United States and in Europe. Boris had one brother, the late Jaroslav.

Boris spent his life as a skilled, and hard working butcher with a friendly attitude and dedicated work ethic. He made friends wherever he went. He enjoyed spending time by the water at his cottage home, and fishing in both his homes in Czech Republic and Ireland.

Private services will be held in both US (Illinois) and in Europe with immediate family.
Service dates: Nov 21-22 and Nov 24-25 with Zoom options for family in the EU to participate.
