Robert C. Jurkowski, age 55, a resident of Wheaton, IL, died Sunday, November 21, 2021, at Central DuPage Hospital in Winfield, Illinois.  He was born September 14, 1966 in Chicago, IL to Chester and Maria Jurkowski.

Bob was a generous man who loved all his family dearly, and his wife only, for nearly nine years after she passed on. If their love story was ever written it would quickly become a classic. He was a master in his professed craft, and was passionate about all others. He hoped and helped to guide many people outside his family to reach their fullest potential; though he often played the cynic, he was optimistic and wanted for everyone to be the best they could. He taught his children how to live and work hard and he loved them more than life itself.

He loved to cook and experiment with different styles of cooking. He loved sharing the food he made as much as he loved cracking jokes, gossiping, and causing general mischief. He was always ready to share his thoughts, whether it was about a good nonstick pan, the economy, or his pride in his children.

He is survived by his seven children, Victoria and her husband, Allen, Gwendolyn, Maximilian, Elizabeth, Stephanie, Beatrice and Amelia; His sister, Marie Wing, Nephew Michael and nieces Kathryn and Laura. He was preceded in death by his wife, Catherine in 2013.

A visitation will be held on Friday , November 26th from 4:00p.m. until 8:00p.m. at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St., Wheaton, IL where prayers will be said on Saturday, November 27th , at 9:30 followed by a mass at 10:00a.m. at St. Mark Catholic Church, 300 E. Cole Ave., Wheaton, IL 60187.  Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery in Wheaton, Illinois.
