Billy W. Blair's Obituary
Billy W. Blair, 82, a long time resident of Wheaton, Illinois, died July 18, 2012, at Central DuPage Hospital in Winfield, Illinois. He was born March 29, 1930 in Curry County, New Mexico.
Billy worked for Bell Labs in Naperville as an electrical engineer from 1966-1995. He was a member of the American Legion Post #2910, and a member of the New Outlook Pioneers, a volunteer organization comprised of telecommunications employees, and active at his church, Trinity Episcopal in Wheaton. He was an avid chess player, bowler, golfer and computer gamer.
He was the loving husband of Ruth (nee Lincoln) for 53 years; loving father of Marianne Blair and Catherine (Mark) Lam; and devoted grandfather of Leah Ruth.
A memorial service will be held Monday July 23, 2012 at 2:00 PM at Trinity Episcopal Church, 130 N. West St., Wheaton, IL 60187 with Canon Linda Potter officiating. Interment will follow in the church's columbarium.
