William Thomas Perkowitz, age 62, passed away early on the morning of December 15, 2016 following a long battle with early-onset Alzheimer's disease. He was born, on June 21, 1954 in Evanston, IL.
He leaves behind his loving wife, Cathy, children Nicole, Grace and Matt, and his twin brother, Robert (Lisa Renstrom), siblings Barbara (Jim) Solheim, Kathleen (Michael Colvard), David (Sylvia), Thomas (Christine Oleson) and Susan, sisters-in-law Julie (Steve) Atchison and Susan (Tom) Woosley, and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Barbara and William, sister Virginia and brother John.
Bill was a loving husband and father and lifelong student of psychology and the law. Bill received a Master of Arts in Psychology from Loyola University of Chicago, where he also acquired his Juris Doctor. He was a member of the California Bar Association for many years and spent most of his career in real estate asset management. Bill was an avid sports fan and an enthusiastic marathon runner.
Visitation will held on Tuesday, December 20, from 4 to 8 p.m. at Hultgren Funeral Home in Wheaton. Services will be held the following morning, Wednesday, December 21 at 11 a.m. at
Trinity Episcopal Church
in Wheaton.
