Bill J. "Bo" Alder, age 57, a resident of Wheaton, since 1980, died suddenly at home on Tuesday, February 24. He was born October 27, 1957 in Chicago to Bob and Marge Alder.
He grew up in Lombard and graduated from St. Charles Borromeo High School. He earned a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing and Finance from De Paul University. Bill worked for many years at Partylite Candles where he was vice-president of manufacturing. He spent the last years of his career as a partner at Nelson Manufacturing in Rockford.
Bill enjoyed family, golfing, and pinochle.
He is survived by Patricia, his mother, Marge Alder of Wheaton, five siblings, Terri (Mike) Leston, Bob Alder, Chris (Mirta) Alder, Lynn (Sam) Auxier, and Dave (Maria) Alder, and nieces and nephews, Rob, Matt (Breanne), Stephanie, Diane, Bill, Dana, Denise, Brian and Nikki and great-nephew, Tyler.
He was preceded in death by his father, Bob.
A memorial Mass will be held at
St. John Neumann Catholic Church
, 2900 E. Main St., St. Charles, IL (corner of North Ave and Kirk Road) on Saturday, March 7th at 10:30 a.m.
