Bettie L. Knight, age 55, a resident of Lisle, IL and formerly of Wheaton, IL, died Sunday, March 8, 2009 at Kindred Hospital in Northlake, IL. She was born January 5, 1954 in Fairhope, AL.

Bettie loved her work at First Care Daycare in Wheaton where she was well-liked. She enjoyed volunteering at her local church, most recently at the Tabernacle of Praise in Aurora, IL.

She is survived by her husband of 33 years, Will; her three children, Terrence, Jennifer and David, all of Wheaton; two grandchildren, Deion and Andre; her mother, Lutisha Tillman of Wheaton; six sisters, Denise, Dorothy, Theresa, Cynthia, Brigette and Vicki; her brother, Dantley; and many nieces, nephews and step-family.

She was preceded in death by her father, Elbert Donald Crisp; and her step-father, Ernest Tillman.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 14, at 11:00 A.M. at Second Baptist Church of Wheaton, 1520 Avery Ave, in Wheaton. Interment is private.
