Bernice Lundquist Swanson's Obituary
Bernice Lundquist Swanson, age 88, a resident of Sebring, Florida and formerly of the Chicagoland area, died suddenly, June 13, 2010. She was born in Oskaloosa, Iowa on May 31, 1922.
On September 6. 1946, she married Melvin Lundquist, who preceded her in death in 1983. She married Fred Swanson in 1985, who preceded her in death in 2006.
Bernice is survived by four children, Diane (Stephen) Oldham, Melvin (Deborah) Lundquist, Christine (David) Burlingame, Curtis (Janice) Lundquist, 9 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 18, at 11a.m. at Hultgren Funeral Home in Wheaton, IL. Friends may visit the family from 10a.m. until 11a.m. Interment will be after the service at the Wheaton Cemetery.
Memorials may be directed to Maranatha Baptist Church, 35 Maranatha Blvd., Sebring, FL 33870; or The Moody Church, 1635 N. LaSalle, Chicago, IL 60613.
