Bernice "Bee" Billett, age 72, a resident of Wheaton, Ilinois, died July 5, 2012, at Wynscape Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Wheaton, Illinois. She was born March 26, 1940 in Westmont, Illinois.

Bee worked for 29 years as an executive assistant at Nicor.  It was there that she met her husband of almost 30 years, L. Raymond Billett Jr.  She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Wheaton, and was a very skilled counted-cross-stitcher.

She is survived by her husband, L. Raymond Billett, Jr; a daughter, Katherine (Robert) Gann; 2 step-daughters, Susan (Michael) Doerner and Mary Ann (Ronald) Kral; a sister, Elizabeth (Hugh) Bailey; and 6 grandchildren.

Bee was preceded in death by her parents, Bernard and Erna Burns; brothers Bernard and Robert Burns; and sister Joyce Bond

A memorial service will be held Saturday, July 14, at 2:00 pm at Wyndemere Retirement Community 200, Wyndemere Cir., Wheaton, Ilinois with Pastor Marcus Nelson officiating.
