Berenice H. Kott, age 94, a resident of Windsor Park Manor in Carol Stream, died Tuesday, June 12 at the Johnson Healthcare Center at Windsor Park.

She was born in Chicago on May 6, 1913 to Harry and Mathilda Halvorsen. She and her husband, Kenneth C. Kott, lived in Wheaton from 1951 until 1975 and then in St. Petersburg, Florida. They moved to Windsor Park Manor in 1991. Before moving to Florida she worked for Domain Communications in Wheaton.

Mrs. Kott is survived by two children, Beverly (Edward) Olsen of Wheaton, and Kenneth D. (Jeannine) Kott of Dunwoody, GA, six grandchildren, Cynthia (Peter) Wallen, Stephen (Julie) Olsen, Keith Olsen, Kent (Cynthia) Olsen, Kimberly (Brian) Parente, and Karin Kott and thirteen great-grandchildren, as well as one sister, Dorothy Carlson of Rockford.

She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, four sisters, Margaret Wilson, Ruth Larsen, Evelyn Carlson, and Ethyl Best and two brothers, Roy Halvorsen and Robert Halvorsen.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 24, from 2 until 6 p.m. at the Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St. in Wheaton.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, June 25 at 1:30 p.m. at Windsor Park Manor, Windsor Park Dr. at North Ave., (just west of Gary Ave.) in Carol Stream.

Interment will be held privately at Wheaton Cemetery.
