Beatrice "Bea" Matilda Christina Sellberg Hall, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, passed away on October 21, 2012 in Schaumburg, Illinois. Bea was born in Evanston, Illinois to Gustav William and Matilda Sofia Peterson Sellberg on February 7, 1915, the 1st of 5 children. On August 3, 1935 she married Arthur Ernest Hall in Evanston, Illinois. During World War II Bea raised their 3 young daughters in Evanston at her parent's home while Art served the Navy in the Pacific theater. Following the war Art and Bea moved their family to Arlington Heights, Illinois. After their daughters married they later moved to Baltimore, Maryland, then Mesa, Arizona, then Apache Junction, Arizona, and finally to the Friendship Village retirement community in Schaumburg, Illinois. Bea was preceded in death by her parents Gustav and Matilda, husband Arthur, brothers Karl and William Sellberg, sister Elvira Serns, and granddaughter Gayle Bernstein. She is survived by her sister Marianne Zeltner, her 3 daughters, Judi Helfers, Carol Gemelli, and June Timmermann, 6 grandchildren, Jill Pontillo, Debbie Pasiewicz, Eric Gemelli, Todd Gemelli, Beth Raczynski, and Mark Timmermann, and 13 great grandchildren, Nick and Joe Pontillo, Madeline and Lucas Pasiewicz, Alyssa, Lauren, Megan, Zachary and Noel Gemelli, Vincent Gemelli, and Nathan, Justin and Kyle Raczynski. Beatrice will be interred alongside her husband Arthur, and near her father Gustav and brother William at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Arlington Heights, Illinois. A family Memorial service will be held in the future.
