Barbara Ann (Koras) Reu, “Barbie”, at age 66, a longtime resident of Warrenville, IL, went Home to be with the LORD on Thursday, September 24, 2026, with her family at her side. She was born on May 14, 1960, in Chicago, IL, to Thomas M. and Ruth Ann (Zulger) Koras.

Barbara lived a full life, doing everything she would do for the LORD and her family and friends. She was a joy to many and loved to tease and laugh. She met the love of her life and married Gary Reu on June 5, 1992, at the Morton Arboretum in Lisle, IL, and they were together for 14 years until Gary went Home to be with the LORD in 2006. She served on the committee yearly for the Midwest Deaf Women Retreat in Wisconsin for many years. Barbara had a vision and founded and served as chairperson of Anchor Deaf Women Ministry yearly in May for 20 years. She received many awards, and her most recent was for serving 20 years as Chair of Anchor Deaf Women Ministry. Barbara was a recognized leader in church and women’s ministry. She also loved traveling around the states to attend Deaf Women Retreats and meet old and new friends.

Barbara survived by her loving children, John Falk and Deborah Falk; her adorable grandchildren, Justin Kinder, Jaslyn Kinder, Jenna Kinder, and Jayla Williams; great granddaughter Elaina Flasking; and her siblings Steve (Patti) Koras and Mark Koras. Barbara was preceded in death by her husband, Gary Reu, and her parents.

In lieu of flowers, the family of Barbara Reu would appreciate memorial donations to: Debbie Falk, 29W431 Hawthorne Lane, Warrenville, IL 60555. Barbara will be sorely missed by all who knew her.
