Barbara Patterson's Obituary
Barbara C. Patterson, age 82, a 48 year resident of Glen Ellyn, died Saturday, September 24, 2011, at Central DuPage Hospital in Winfield, Illinois. She was born April 16, 1929 in Oak Park to Myrtle and Joel Crissey.
She married John "Jack" Patterson on August 14, 1960. Barbara worked for Glenbard School District 87 from 1981 until retiring in 1996. She enjoyed needlepointing and gardening.
She is survived by her son, Bob Patterson of Glen Ellyn, sister, JoAnn (Wayne)Kent of LIbertyville, sister-in-law, Adelaide "Torchy" Couchman of FL, and a niece and nephew.
She was preceded in death by her husband in 1981 and her parents.
A memorials service will be held on Tues., Oct. 4 at 10 a.m. at First Congregational Church of Glen Ellyn, 535 Forest Ave., Glen Ellyn, IL 60137
