Barbara L Garazin, age 70, a resident of Winfield, was taken Home by her Lord on May 31, 2013. She died at home surrounded with love by her entire family.

She faced a 17 year struggle with Multiple Myeloma with incredible faith and courage. She was a member of Peace Lutheran Church and Marco Lutheran Church in Marco Island, Florida.

She is survived by her devoted husband, Rev. Kenneth, children David (Heather) Hackett, Michael (Heather) Hackett, Scott (Kathy), and Krista (Jay) White, grandchildren Megan, Jordan, Amanda, Allie, Kylie, Makai and Gia, and her brother Mark (Millie) Turner.

She was preceded in death by her parents Arthur and Eunice Kolderup.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 4, from 4 to 8 p.m. at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St. in Wheaton. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 5, at 11:00 a.m. at Peace Lutheran Church, 21W500 Butterfield Road in Lombard. Interment will follow at Wheaton Cemetery in Wheaton, Illinois.
