Audrey Spreckels, age 90, a resident of Windsor Park in Carol Stream, went to be with her Lord on Sunday, November 8, 2015, at Johnson Health Care Center in Carol Stream, Illinois. She was born November 19, 1924 in Cass County, Minnesota to Clarence and Margaret Hanson.

Audrey met her husband, Robert Spreckels at St. Paul Bible Institute in St. Paul, Minnesota where they were students. They were married on July 19, 1945. They lived most of their life in Wheaton, Illinois where they were active members of the Wheaton Evangelical Free Church.

She is survived by her husband of 70 years, Robert, three children, Judy (James) Ebers of Naperville, Peggy Winston of Laurel, Montana and David (Donna)Spreckels of Wheaton, seven grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and one brother, Gerald (Esther) Hanson of Grosse Pointe, Michigan. She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Phyllis Hanson.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, November 12, 2015 from 9:30 to 11 a.m. at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St., Wheaton, IL. Interment will follow at Wheaton Cemetery. A memorial service will follow at 2:30 p.m. in the chapel at Windsor Park, 134 Windsor Park Dr., Carol Stream.
