Arline G. Brickley, 97, a resident of Windsor Park Manor in Carol Stream, IL died there on September 15th. She was born in Cleveland on May 31, 1909. Mrs. Brickley was very involved in the Massillon community life.  She was a member of Maryland Ave. Baptist Church in Canton for a  many years. Mrs Brickley was also the past president of many organizations including, The Massillon Women's Club, The Women's Board of Massillon Community Hospital, and the Rotary Ann's Club of Massillon and Canal Fulton . In 1979 she was voted Women of the Year for her volunteer efforts in the Massillon. She was well know in the community as an accomplished pianist, who played for many churches, women's functions, and the Massillon Rotary Club. She was named as an Honorary Rotarian for her many years of playing for the weekly Rotary meetings. During her years at Windsor Park Manor in Carol Stream, IL she regularly played for the chapel services.   She is presently a member at First Baptist Church of Wheaton, IL.

She is survived by her daughters, Jean (Dick) Erickson and Lois (Gabe) d'Annunzio; her grandchildren Carolyn (Kevin) Yoder, Diane (Ken) Hodge, and David (Megan) Erickson, Anita (Brian) d'Annunzio, and Adrienne (John) d'Annunzio, and four great-grandchildren.

Mrs Brickley was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Sylvester Brickley, her brother Thiemer Geddes, and her sister Betty Cordell

A memorial service will be held Friday September 22, at 1:30 p.m. at Windsor Park Manor auditorium with Chaplin Don Jones officating.
