Ardeth L. Zamsky, age 84, a resident of Wheaton, IL, died Monday, April 4, 2016, at home. She was born August 8, 1931 in Salt Lake City, UT.

Ardeth was born into a large family and was the matriarch to her own large family with four living generations. She worked for the State Farm Insurance Agency, and was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

She is survived by her loving husband of 65 years, Al Zamsky; her daughters, Margaret (Jim) Fiore and Kathy (Steve) Crane; her son, John Zamsky; her grandchildren, Vanessa Fiore, Melissa (Dan) Zaboth, Vincent Fiore, Elliott Crane, Natalie Crane, Alex Zamsky and Tyler Zamsky; her great-grandchildren, Arabella Zaboth, Camilla Zaboth and Rosie Zaboth; and her brothers, Richard (Barbara) Rasmussen and Robert (Carol) Rasmussen.

She was preceded in death by her father, Lowell Rasmussen; her mother, Ellen Whitecar; her sisters, Maurene, Carolyn, and Jo Anne; and her brother, David.

A visitation will be held on Friday, April 8, 2016 from 4-8 p.m. at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St., in Wheaton, IL where a funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 9, 2016 at 11:00 a.m.

Interment will be private at Wheaton Cemetery in Wheaton, IL.
