Anthony "Tony" Dudasik Jr., age 62, a resident of West Chicago, IL, died Sunday, October 21, 2018, at Central DuPage Hospital in Winfield, IL. He was born August 13, 1956 in Chicago, IL.
Tony loved his job at Zemsky's. He saw his fellow employees as his second family. Tony loved cleaning from an early age. As a child he asked for cleaning supplies for Christmas. After marrying Jenny he discovered a passion for cooking. He was willing to try any recipe and excelled at many. Tony and Jenny honeymooned at Disney World. That was his first trip to Disney and he was able to return many times. However his favorite vacation was going to Hawaii. Tony loved cheering for all sports teams - the Blackhawks, the Bulls, the Dolphins, the Cougars. When asked if he was a Sox or Cubs fan he would diplomatically say, "I'm a Chicago fan." Tony enjoyed working in the College Church nursery. He had many little ones that he called his "shadow".
He is survived by his wife of 13 years, Jennifer Dudasik; three brothers, Paul, John (Deanna), and Mike (Kathy); his sister, Linda (Ed) Falkowski; his sister-in-law, Carol (William) Melton; eight nieces and nephews, Mitchell, Kimberly, Pam, Robert, Julie, Timothy, Matthew, and Tori; a great niece, Natalya; a great nephew, Jason; and his father-in-law, Scott (Dee) Alley.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Anthony Sr. and Theresa Dudasik; and his mother-in-law, Sue.
A visitation will be held Sunday, October 28, 2018 from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St., in Wheaton, IL. A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 29, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at
College Church
, 332 E. Seminary Ave, in Wheaton, IL. Interment will follow at
Elm Lawn Memorial Park
in Elmhurst, IL.
