Anny P. Thompson's Obituary
Anny Thompson, age 94, a resident of Carol Stream, IL, died Sunday, April 21, 2013, at Lexington Health Care Center in Bloomingdale, IL. She was born November 24, 1918 in Bergen, Norway.
Anny first worked as a coat room attendant at a Norwegian club called Normanes. Later she worked as a Plastic Extruder for a manufacturing firm called Pyle National.
She is survived by her husband of 36 years, Robert V. Thompson; her daughter, Anne (Charles) Smith of Burlington, Ontario, Canada; three grandsons, Ronald, Richard and Daniel; her sister, Ruth in Norway; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her son, Rolf Eric Alstad; and two brothers.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 24, 2013 from 5-8 p.m. at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St., in Wheaton, IL where a funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 25, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood, IL.
