A celebration of the life of Annie M. Martin, age 47, will be held on Saturday, January 10 at 3:00 P.M. at Parkview Community Church, 764 St. Charles Rd. in Glen Ellyn.

Annie was born on June 15, 1961 in Stamford, Connecticut to Sheldon and Elaine Lewis. After graduating from Harper College in Palatine she worked in banking for 16 years. On October 20, 1990 she married James Martin. She was heavily involved in youth ministry at Our Saviour's Lutheran Church in Arlington Heights and later was involved with the youth at St. John's Lutheran Church in Lombard, where she was involved with the Praise Team. Both she and Jim have had a puppet ministry at St. John's and currently at Parkview Community Church in Glen Ellyn. Together with their children they have been actively involved with Christian Youth Theater.

She is survived by her husband, Jim, three children, Clifford, Garrett, and Aleen, her parents, Sheldon and Elaine Lewis of Rockford, five siblings, Patricia (Jim) McClean, John (Kathy) Lewis, Jim (Suzie) Lewis, Paul (Tori) Lewis and Mark (Karin) Lewis, and 26 nieces and nephews.

Memorials will be used for the education of her children and may be sent to Jim Martin, 304 N. Main St., Wheaton, IL 60187.
