IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Anne H.
Fountain
August 20, 1947 – June 6, 2025
Anne Haig Fountain of Machias, New York went home to be with her Lord and Savior Friday June 6, 2025 after joyfully serving Him for 77 years. Anne was born in Buffalo, New York to Newland and Lydia Fountain on August 20, 1947. Anne was a well loved and respected middle and high school music teacher in the Pioneer School system. She also served in the music ministry at Odosagih Bible Conference in a variety of capacities for over 30 years, and performed with local ensembles, bands and orchestras for over 25 years. She volunteered with Operation Christmas Child multiple times in their packing center and enjoyed traveling with friends, caring for animals, most notably her dogs, and going for a good run. Loving a good challenge she started running in her 40's and upgraded to doing marathons when she turned 50. Above and beyond all these things she valued the people her activities brought her in contact with. She had a rich prayer life in which she remembered people by name. She trusted Jesus Christ to care and provide for her and everyone else. She brought their concerns to Him and then her own after that. Her prayers availed much good in her community and family. Anne is survived by her sisters Mary Atkison and Deborah Young and their husbands Randall Atkison and Wayne Young respectively, Her Step children Sheryl, Dale, Laurie and Ellen Hofmann and their spouses, Her Nieces and Nephews, Lydia and David Wilson, their children Benjamin, Nathaniel and Rebecca, Rachel and Jack LeVan, their children Alexander, Nicholas and Jacob, Jessica and Daniel Mouque, their children John, Peter and Abigail, Daniel and Kelly Young, their children Declan, Collin and Maeve, Jennifer and Anthony Frascone, their children Siena, Mia and Anthony Wayne, Matthew and Simone Young, their daughter Kennedy.
