"Don't forget, somewhere between hello and goodbye, there was love, so much love."
July 30th my mom got her angel wings. When I was a little girl I remember thinking how my mom would never die. After all she was invincible. Kicking butt on a daily basis and one of the hardest workers I know and raising a child all on her own. My mom and I had a unbreakable bond. We were always the best of friends and remained best friends till the end. The last 4 years she fought like hell. I moved back home over a year ago and took care of her as the cancer consumed her. Still, we fought like hell together. Saying I love her and miss her just doesn't suffice. I long for my sweet mama but she is finally at peace and reconnected with our beloved loved ones that have passed. I am so thankful for the time I had with my mom if I am to look on the bright side of things. I will cherish all the good times and memories I have. My mom has taught me so much in her short time on earth and I strive everyday to be half the woman she was. There are so many things I can say but I'll leave it at this, fly high mom. I love you and miss you till the end of time. Till we meet again my sweet mother.
