Annamarie Vajgert, age 87, a resident of Elgin, passed away April 26, 2021. She was born April 29, 1933 in Chicago, Illinois to Michael & Rose Lopez.

She is survived by her children Pamela (Phil) Vovola, Wayne (Sandra), Valerie, Bruce & Vanessa Vajgert; her eleven grandchildren & five great-grandsons (with one more on the way). Also survived by her brother Anthony (Gina) Lopez; many nieces & nephews; and numerous loving friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband Wayne and her grandson Elijah "Shy" Vajgert.

A visitation and celebration of Annamarie's life will be held on her birthday, Thursday, April 29, 2021, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at Hultgren Funeral Home where a funeral service will be held at 11:30 a.m. For those unable to attend the 11:30 a.m. service, a livestream will be available through this link: https://youtu.be/VLCNkuBZibQ . Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery in Wheaton, Illinois.
