Obituary

Anna Maria Weber, age 99, a resident of West Chicago, went to be with the Lord, Sunday, May 16 peacefully surrounded by her family. She was born on January 27, 1911 in Ukraine.

She lived through WWI and WWII and immigrated to the United States in 1956 with her husband and seven of her nine children. Although her life was not easy, she fully depended on the Lord for everything. She always told everyone how faithful God had been to her.

She is survived by nine children, Emilia Garbers, Annette (James) Flanagan, Helmuth (Ingrid) Weber, Viktor (Peggie) Weber, Ruth Angelacos, Dorothea (Peter) Ochoa, John (Jackie) Weber, Esther (Robert) Dubi, Peter (Carla) Weber, 24 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by one brother Albert (Herta) Flaig and one sister Mathilde Renkewitz nee Flaig.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John Weber.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 23, from 4 to 8 p.m. at Sunny Place Church of God, 901 E. Oak St. in Addison, IL 60101, where a funeral service will be held on Monday, May 24 at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Elm Lawn Cemetery in Elmhurst.
