Anna B. Klepfer, age 92, a resident of Wheaton, and formerly of Lombard for over 30 years, died Sunday, June 11, at the DuPage Convalescent Center in Wheaton. She was born August 25, 1913 in Mt. Olive, IL.
Anna was a loving wife to Fred R. Klepfer, and also a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a longtime member at the Lombard Gospel Chapel. She worked at the Dr. Scholl's factory in Chicago, and also at Montgomery Ward's as a gift wrapper in the Loop.
She is survived by her granddaughter, Kimberly (Robert) Marshall of Wheaton; her grandson, Joseph Crowell of Lombard; and her great-grandson, Ian Marshall.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Fred, and her daughter and son-in-law, Beatrice and Chester Crowell.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 13, from 6-8 P.M. at Wheaton Bible Church, corner of Main and Franklin Streets. A funeral service will be held at the same location on Wednesday at 10:00 A.M. Interment will follow at Oakridge Cemetery in Hillside.
