Obituary

Anna Mae Albert, age 92, a resident of Meadowbrook Manor in Naperville, died Tuesday, August 29, at Edward Hospital in Naperville. She was born on January 22, 1914 in Mt. Vernon, NY to Charles and Rose Marie Janzen.

She lived in New York for almost 80 years until moving to Greenwood, SC and then to Naperville, IL. She was a member of the Red Hat Society in Greenwood. For many years she lived in East Rockaway, NY, where she was an active member of the East Rockaway Nazarene Church. Together with her husband, William, they created a loving home for foster children.

Anna is survived by three children, Rev. William (Olivia) of Aurora, IL, Patricia (Jack) Eckhardt of Greenwood, SC, and Rev. Robert (Cheryl) of Greenwood, SC, nine grandchildren, William Jr., Lisa, Tara, Erin, Jackie, Robert, Elizabeth, Kimberly and Patricia, and 14 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her adopted children, Rev. Joseph Stanley of Delaware, and Doris Hogan of California.

She was preceded in death by her husband and her parents.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, August, 31 at 7:00 p.m. at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St. in Wheaton. Friends may visit with the family from 6 until 7 p.m. Private services and interment will be held on Long Island.
