Ann C. McConachie (née Killion) a Wheaton resident, passed away peacefully after 95 fabulous years. She was born in Oak Park to Curtis B. Killion, Sr. and Bernice Helen Killion, on July 25, 1929. Married 72 years to the love of her life, Robert Bruce McConachie. Dearest sister of the late Curtis (the late Shirley) Killion, dear sister-in-law of the late Alex (the late Connie), the late James (the late Louise), the late John (the late Shirley), the late Donald (the late Jean), the late Janet Coney (the late George), and the late Helen Jean Heston. Besides her loving husband Bruce, she is survived by her beloved daughter Barbara (the late Terry) Leonard, grandchildren Elizabeth, David (Carrie) and Scot (Donna) Leonard, eight great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren, and numerous loving nieces and nephews. She loved being a part of such a large, extended family.

Ann also loved a good party and was an excellent hostess. A world traveler, she and Bruce traveled all over with their life-long friends and made new friends along the way. She will always be remembered as loyal, loving, and caring, and as someone who always made people feel at ease and welcomed.

Our family would like to acknowledge and thank the Westbridge Assisted Living community in Wheaton for the kind and loving care she received over these last months.

A visitation will be held at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St., Wheaton, IL 60187, on Saturday, December 7, 2024, from 2:00 p.m. until the time of the memorial service at 3:00 p.m.
