Obituary

Andrew A. Lichy, age 67, a resident of Wheaton for 25 years, died Saturday, April 9, 2005 at home with his three children. He was born in Manilla, Philippines on December 21, 1937 to Andrew and Frances Lichy.

Andrew, a survivor of a Japanese concentration camp, came to the US at the age of 6. Shortly after he moved to Michigan. When coming to Chicago he worked for U.S.Air for 37 years as an Air Freight Supervisor. In 1963, Andy married Diane Flynn. Together they had three children. Andrew and his wife were active members of the Wheaton Evangelical Free Church for 22 years and Andrew was a member of the church bowling league and an avid fisherman.

He is survived by his three children, Andrew R., Nicole, and Paul Lichy. He was preceded in death by his Wife, Diane and his parents.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 12, from 3 until 9 P.M. at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St. in Wheaton. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 2:00 P.M. at the Wheaton Evangelical Free Church, 520 E. Roosevelt Rd. in Wheaton with Rev. Bruce Love officiating.

Interment will be held on Thursday in Columbiaville, Michigan.
