Amy Louise Lewis, age 33, a former Wheaton resident, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, April 23. She was born August 17, 1981 in Winfield to Jim and Diana Lewis.

Amy grew up in Wheaton and attended the Wheaton public schools. She attended Glenbard South High School. She enjoyed meeting people and had a career in automobile sales. Amy was very active in NA and held various service positions.

She was an outgoing and kind person, who wanted to help others.

She is survived by her son, Michael Tiedel who was the love of her life. She is also survived by her parents, Jim and Diana Lewis of Wheaton, one sister, Emily Lewis of Wheaton, grandmother, Carol Lewis of Carol Stream, maternal grandmother Alice (Ken) Pipher of Canada, and aunts, uncles and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her god-mother, Ginny Hallmer, and grandfather, James Lewis.

A visitation will be held on Monday, April 27, from 3 to 9 p.m. at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St., Wheaton, IL. A funeral service will be held Tuesday, April 28, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Village Green Baptist Church,
