Amanda L. Mclain's Obituary
Amanda L. McLain, age 24, a resident of Wheaton, IL, died Monday, October 24, 2011, at home. She was born March 18, 1987 in Elmhurst, IL.
Amanda had all but finished a Bachelor's degree in Psychology at Northern Illinois University in DeKalb, IL. She loved animals. She loved spending time with her niece and nephew; and really enjoyed a recent trip to southern California with family. She enjoyed cooking and trying new recipes.
She is survived by her mother, Deborah (Wallace Mangum) McLain of Wheaton; her grandmother, Gloria Buhr; her brother, Dan (Suzy) McLain; her sister, Jenny (John) Hartnett; her niece, Ava; and her nephew, Timmy.
She was preceded in death by her father, Robert McLain; and her great-grandmother, Leona "Granny" Peters.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 26, 2011 from 4-8 p.m. at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St., in Wheaton, IL. Services and interment are private at Mt. Emblem Cemetery in Elmhurst, IL.
