Amalia "Mollie" Michael, age 97, a longtime resident of Wheaton, IL, passed away, Sunday, May 19, 2013 at home in Wheaton. She was born March 4, 1916 in Maywood.

She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Wheaton where she was active in the J.O.Y. Group and the Afternoon Circle.

She is survived by her daughter, Joan (Paul) Klespitz of Aurora, her son, RH "Mike" (Karen) Michael of Itasca, her grandchildren, Julie Ann Webb and Scott (Heather) Klespitz, great-grandchildren, Jordan, Dylan, Hannah and Payton, her brothers, Henry (Mary) Gorr and Alex (Lovie) Gorr, her sister, Eleanor (Frank) Steinke, sisters-in-law, Rose and Viola Gorr and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold, her parents, Julianna and David Gorr and her brothers Larry and David Gorr.

A visitation will be held on Friday, May 24, from 4 to 8 at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St., Wheaton, IL. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 25, at 11:00 A.M. at St. John Lutheran Church, 410 N. Cross St., Wheaton, IL . Interment will follow at Wheaton Cemetery in Wheaton, Illinois. Friends may visit with the family at the church from 10 to 11 a.m. prior to the service.
