Allan "Pat" Carlson, age 79, of Wheaton went home to be with the Lord on Monday, February, 16th. Mr. Carlson died peacefully at home. He was born in South Dakota on March 17th, 1929.

He enjoyed his part time job at Walmart for many years after his retirement from Wright Tree Service in 1994. He was an active member of Wheaton Evangelical Free Church for many years and loved family & friends getting together and was a big football & baseball fan.

He is survived by 4 children, JoAnne (Dale) Marshall of Pingree Grove, Mark Carlson of Wheaton, Nancy (Rick) McGinn of Winfield, Karin (Tom) Nelson of Ashton, eight grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and several nieces
and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, 5 siblings, his wife, Virginia and one daughter, Cindy.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 19 from 4 to 8 p.m. at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St. in Wheaton. A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 20 at 11:00 a.m. at Wheaton Evangelical Free Church, 520 E. Roosevelt Rd. in Wheaton with Rev. Bruce Love officiating.

Interment will be held at Chapel Hill Gardens West in Oakbrook Terrace.
