Alice Laverene Lynch, nee Lloyd, age 94, a resident of Wynscape Nursing Center in Wheaton, passed to her heavenly home on Tuesday, September 26, 2006. She was born on July 11, 1912, in Blythe Township, Pennslyvania.
Alice was a member in long standing of St. John's Church of Christ in St. Clair, PA, where she was a choir member for 50 years, a faithful member of the I.D.A. Women's society and a Sunday School teacher.
She is survived by her son, George B. (Cathy) Lynch of Rochelle, IL, Richard C. (Amy) Lynch of Brownsville, TX, and Robert D. (Susan) Lynch of Harlingen, TX; 14 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, George H. Lynch; her daughter, Alice Laverene Siminitus; her grandson, Kerry W. Lynch; and her two brothers, Benjamin and Earl Lloyd.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, October 22, at 2:00 P.M. at Hope Presbyterian Church, 1771 S. Wiesbrook Rd., in Wheaton. Interment will be at the Odd Fellows Cemetery in St. Clair, PA at a later date.
