Alice L. Kelley, nee Bell, age 91, a resident of Windsor Park Manor in Carol Stream, IL and formerly of Wheaton, IL, and Chicago, IL, died Sunday, September 12, 2010 peacefully at home. She was born August 2, 1919 in Chicago, IL.

Mrs. Kelley was a member of the First Baptist Church of Wheaton, and formerly of the Moraine Valley Church of Palos Heights, IL.

She is survived by her son, retired USAF Major General Joseph (Sharon Joy) Kelley of Frankfurt, IL; her daughter, Lois (Bruce) Gerloff of Woodstock, IL; her grandchildren, Timothy (Kate), and Jessica Kelley, and Matthew, Sarah and Daniel Gerloff; her great-granddaughter, Harper Kelley; and her sister, Vera O'Haver.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Frank Kelley; her son, First Lieutenant David Kelley, USAF; her brother, James Bell; and her sisters, Ruth Williams and Pearl Carroll.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, September 16, 2010, from 3 to 8 p.m. at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St., in Wheaton. A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 17, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church of Wheaton, 1310 N. Main St., Wheaton, IL 60187, with Rev. Mike Rowe officiating. Interment will follow at Irving Park Cemetery, in Chicago, IL.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be directed to the church.
