Albina C. Sliozis' Obituary
Albina C. "Albie" Sliozis, age 83, a longtime resident of Colony Park in Carol Stream, died Saturday, January 26, at Libertyville Manor in Libertyville, IL. She was born November 4, 1924 in Chicago.
Albie was a volunteer at Central DuPage Hospital, and the Auxiliary at the Wheaton VFW.
She is survived by her two sons, Michael (Lenore) Sliozis of Libertyville, and John (Patti) Sliozis of Libertyville; six grandchildren, Mark and David, and Karen (David) Cravotta, Michael (Courtney), Steven and Jennifer; and her sister, Lucille Shotas.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 39 years, John; her twin brother, Albert Dagis, and her sisters, Betty Dauskurdas, and Connie Gorski.
A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, January 29, at 10:00 A.M. at St. Mark Catholic Church, 300 E. Cole in Wheaton. Interment will follow at St. Michael Cemetery in Wheaton.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be directed to the American Lung Association, 1749 S. Naperville Road, Suite 202, Wheaton, IL 60187.
