Obituary

Albert G. Zamsky, age 94, a resident of Wheaton, IL, died Sunday, October 8, 2023. He was born August 14, 1929 in Bellevue, PA.

Albert was the only son of Jack and Viola Zamsky. He was a long-standing swimming coach and Aquatic Director at College of DuPage. He also worked at Wheaton Park District, Good Samaritan Hospital, and as a SCUBA instructor.

He is survived by his daughters, Margaret (Jim) Fiore and Kathy (Steve) Crane; his son John (Cathi Dykes) Zamsky; his grandchildren, Vanessa Fiore, Melissa (Dan) Zaboth, Vincent (Madeline) Fiore, Elliott Crane, Natalie Crane, Alex Zamsky, Tyler Zamsky, Abbi Dykes, and Allison Dykes; his great-grandchildren, Arabella Zaboth, Camilla Zaboth, Rosie Zaboth, Lucy Zaboth.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 65 years, Ardeth Zamsky.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, October 21, 2023, from 3:00pm - 7:00pm at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main Street, Wheaton, Illinois, where a funeral service will begin at 7:00pm.

Interment will be private at Wheaton Cemetery in Wheaton, IL.
