Albert J. Such, age 61, passed away unexpectedly on October 10, 2018 at his home in Carol Stream, Illinois.  He was born February 28, 1957 in Poland. At the age of two he immigrated to the United States with his parents and two older sisters.

Albert grew up on the family farm in Stanley, WI. After high school he attended the University of Wisconsin in Madison and received his bachelor's degree in Mathematics and Computer Science followed by a master's degree in Computer Science. After his graduation from the university in 1981 he began working for Bell Labs and moved to the Carol Stream area. He finished his career working for the same company even though the company itself changed hands several times.

Albert enjoyed hunting, fishing, hiking, and snow skiing. There were many good stories for him to share. He enjoyed photography and was always available to photograph family events.

Family was very important to Albert. He very much enjoyed teasing all his nieces and nephews and was very supportive in their lives. Everyone knew they would always receive a birthday card from him and that it would provide a good laugh.

Albert and Annie enjoyed traveling. They traveled throughout the country and later reminisced about their adventures which were relived through the many photos they took along the way.

Albert will be deeply missed by his sisters, Halina (David) Knapp of Waupun, Hatty (James) Wirth of Stanley and Mary (Ron Hazuga) Thrasher of Stanley as well as all his nieces and nephews, friends, and other family members. He was preceded in death by his lifelong partner, Annie Bissantz and his parents, John and Leonarda Such.

A visitation will be held October 15, 2018 from 10:00 - 1:00 p.m. at Hultgren Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held October 15, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Corpus Christi Church . Interment will take place at St. Mary Czestochowa Cemetery in Stanley, WI on a later date.
