Ailison C. Edwards, age 97, a resident of Windsor Park in Carol Stream, died at home on January 11, 2021. She was born on April 24, 1923 in Australia.

On September 8, 1943 she married Richard T. Edwards Jr.

Ailison and Richard moved to Windsor Park in 2013 from Wheaton and enjoyed their retirement years. They were married 74 years when Richard preceded her in death in 2017, and lost her daughter in 2018. She enjoyed knitting and was a good neighbor.

Ailison grew up in the Episcopal Church in Australia and was a quiet, kind and gracious person; she loved her family and her friends in the area and at Windsor Park.

Services were held privately. Interment was held at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood, IL.
