Obituary
Adele C. Talbot, age 72, a resident of Rockford, IL for over 35 years, died Monday, September 27th at the Tabor Hills Health Care Center in Naperville. She was born on July 30, 1932 in Chicago to Earle and Margaret Hoff.
Adele was actively involved with AWANA Clubs International and Camp AWANA where she worked on the waterfront and helped in the kitchen. While working at the camp she met Owen Talbot. Together they were members at Northside Gospel Center in Chicago. She worked at Cub Foods in Rockford until recently.
She is survived by four children, David (Caren) Talbot of Wheaton, Cheryl (Phil) Palmer of Rockford, Diane (Fred) Cofield of Ypsilanti, MI, and Keith (Elizabeth) Talbot of Milwaukee, WI, ten grandchildren and one brother.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Owen Talbot in 2000, and her parents.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 23, at 10:30 A.M. at College Church in Wheaton, corner of Seminary Ave. and Washington St. in Wheaton.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Camp AWANA, 3859 N. Central Ave., Chicago, IL 60634.
