Obituary

Wilson S. Doma, age 62, a resident of Carol Stream, passed away on Friday, December 22, 2023.  He was born November 6, 1961 in India to Vinaya Sagar & Dorothy Doma.

Wilson Doma, was a loving servant of the Lord Jesus Christ, a son, brother, husband, uncle, & father. He started his journey in India completing his education in Hyderabad. Wilson was part of the Indian Air Force stationed in Bangalore, India serving as a patriot to his beloved country. Wilson then migrated to the United States to start his journey as a Director of Operations for the Medical Industry and completed 15 years of service in this field. Along with his professional career, Wilson was also involved in the musical industry as a drummer for many artists both in India and America. The Lord united Wilson and Sunitha in marriage on December 28th, 2001. They both spent the next 21 years years raising their two children Cynthia and Mark Doma. Wilson's spiritual journey began in 1990 and continued as he served as an Evangelist in India, reaching and touching as many people as possible and bringing them closer to Jesus.

Wilson was then ordained as a Pastor in April of 2012. Wilson's desire and passion to serve the Lord extended as he pursued courses in Jail Ministry as well as spread the Gospel in many prisons in the Chicagoland area. Wilson was also recognized as a Chaplain in September of 2021.

He is survived by his wife of nearly 22 years, Sunitha; his children Cynthia & Mark Doma; his mother Dorothy Doma; his siblings Allen Rupender (Connie) Doma & Anita Sagar (Jessy) Amara; his brother-in-law Subhakar (Sailaja) Desapogu; his nieces & nephews: Eva Dorcas, Tina Dolphin, Joe & Joel Amara, Epanetus & Olivia Akepogu, Sankeerth Desapogu, Grace & Diana Desapogu.

He is also survived by his loved immediate family, Shiv (Gita) Chawla; his nephew Goshawn (Loveleen) Chawla; his niece Shweta (Virpal) Singh and their respective children.

He was preceded in death by his father Vinaya Sagar Doma; his brother-in-law Sukumar Desapogu; and his sister-in-law Sujatha Akepogu.

A visitation will be held at Gospelife Church, 1N100 Gary Ave., Carol Stream, IL 60188, on Saturday, December 30, 2023, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 a.m.  Interment will follow at Wheaton Cemetery.
