Robert Sonn, age 67, a resident of Carol Stream, IL, died March 16, 2019, at home. He was born February 24, 1952 in Chicago, Illinois.

He served as a Marine in the Vietnam War at Okinawa. He enjoyed the outdoors, photography, nature, traveling and riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycle.

He is survived by his son, David Sonn of Lake Station, Indiana; his grandson Elijah Sonn; his brothers Jeff & Elmer "Gus"; two sisters Patty & Susan; and many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service is being planned in the near future. Check back at a later date for details. Interment will be held at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood, Illinois.
