Loretta Alice Savage (nee Bauer), age 83, a 70-year resident of Wheaton, IL, died Sunday, June 12, 2022, at Central DuPage Hospital in Winfield, Illinois.  She was born November 18, 1938 in Chicago. She was the daughter of the late John and Mildred (nee Soboleski) Bauer.

On November 20th, 1954, she married the love of her life, Harold Savage, at Gary Methodist church of Wheaton IL. They enjoyed 63 years of marriage until his death in 2018. They had one daughter Cindy, who preceded her in death in 2015.

Loretta is survived by her brother Philip (Margaret) Bauer of Des Plaines, and nephews Brian (Patti) and Bradley (Shelly Dupuis) Bauer, three great-nephews Andrew, David, and Adam Bauer , many cousins, as well as special friends Steve and Sally Rajnic of Wheaton, and her beloved cat, Tiger, her constant companion for over four years.

Loretta was an avid reader, loved animals, and enjoyed crochet and needlework. She was an excellent cook, especially when making her mother's Polish dishes.

As per her wishes, a visitation will not be held, rather at a later date she, her husband, and her daughter will be laid to rest at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood IL. She will be truly missed.
